About the Event

The Magick Stone is an old folk story about the art of giving.

The Magick Stone workshop is about crafting a gift for someone you love, combining technological and analogue elements into an experience which you have made just for them.

Do you want to design, make, and give a unique experience to someone you love? Maybe you haven't seen each other for a while, maybe that someone needs a reminder that there are people out there who love and care for them or maybe your Valentine deserves something more than chocolates. If the answer is yes, join us on the 11th of February.

In this workshop Kevin Campbell Davidson will guide you through a series of playfull exercises to help you design a gift for a loved one in the form of an unforgettable experience. These exercises include whole group activities, pair work in break out rooms and off-screen solo work to help you design a gift for your loved one.

The intention is to fully complete your gift within the 90 minutes so it is ready to send.

This workshop is inspired by the theatre company Odyssey Works:

“Events are psychologically, physically, or spiritually immersive experiences that exist in particular times and places, are supported by architecture and aesthetics, and are generated in the space between us” Abraham Burickson Artistic Director, Odyssey Works

This is a FREE event with the option to DONATE and support this wonderful project. We would love to have this workshop regularly available for the wider community. Please share with those who are in need of a fun, creativity in their life and want to show their love for that someone special.

Love, Nora & Kevin
