About the Event

We are usually more empathetic about others than ourselves. Our inner critic comes into play quite often entangled with our self-worth, just to make things interesting. If you are harsh on yourself, expecting far too much and feeling like you are never enough than join us for this session, lovingly guided by Kaisa all the way from Finland. You will find that you are not alone and that self-empathy is a skill to be learned, practiced and embodied.

⬇️ Check the multiple benefits of training your curiosity muscle with us and practicalities at the bottom of this page ⬇️

In this session we will dig deeper in why its sometimes hard to be empathic towards ourselves and practise being a good friend to ourselves. We will also look at the systemic level of living in a toxic society and how getting more systemic awareness can increase our empathy. We will do both verbal and somatic practises to root ourselves in self empathy and will be using various tools, including Non Violent Communication (NVC).

Kaisa Kaarmemaa is an artist ( musician and puppeteer) and a facilitator and coach. She facilitates workshops in NVC  She is currently a candidate to become a cnvc certified trainer on NVC. She also facilitates Work that Reconnects workshops. It is vital for Kaisa to create spaces that are safe, inclusive and compassionate. More info about Kaisa can be found here:

The benefits of training our curiosity muscle together:

🎈 discover new layers of ourselves, others and gain new skills.

🎈 get to dip our toes into all these wonderful things that happen out there without breaking the bank or needing to commit to further courses.

🎈 learn how to approach life with curiosity, open mind even when dull moments arrive.

🎈 relax into your perfectly imperfect self. Mistakes will be embraces as God know we will do plenty of those.

🎈 the dinner table stories will be less boring. Our family will be grateful.

🎈 becoming more interesting, curious and attractive. Our current and future partners will love it.

🎈 but most importantly, we will keep being curious even when shit hits the fan.

"The Monday Club was an amazing experience! It  became almost a habit to meet both new and familiar people in a cozy friendly circle. Facilitators were super interesting people, who softly and skilfully helped me to find something new about myself. And it was fun as well! Nora is the most joyful and caring person, who goes far and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this experience! " Svetlana B.
