About the event

The sharing of experiences and your finding voice is one way in which we make meaning of our lives and build the sense of community that heals feelings of isolation and loneliness. Sharing insights helps us build our wisdom and when combined with creativity and play builds hope and verve for the future.

Amanda Douge is an award-winning actress, writer and director. Alongside her career in the arts, she has also worked in communities with creativity as a tool for self expression and exploration as both a teacher and facilitator. She has developed her own voice coaching method and has trained extensively in the Michael Chekhov acting technique. Amanda has a unique ability to get to the heart of an experience for others through both insight and play.

Combining my passion for community and Amanda's work with voice and creativity for self exploration and expression this workshop will be a combination of sharing, play, re-connecting, building insights and laughter.

It is a day workshop including a lunch lovingly prepared by someone other than yourself. We are going to be outdoors near Charlton, Greenwich.
