The Monday Club - Portrait Session with Alexandra Dao

This portrait session with Alexandra Dao is about colour, movement, emotion, and storytelling - she will capture your essence which can be printed as an heirloom on archival quality paper to pass on to your grandchildren. Come as you are. You can dress up or down. It's up to you. We will do the rest. This is a small social event ( max 7 particpants ) where we provide nibbles and drinks while each of us will take turns in having their photo taken by Alexandra 

📸 Please bring an object which is unique to you - maybe you love knitting, maybe you love cooking, maybe you are an artist, or love reading. These objects will become part of the portrait. You will get to choose one high resolution file, that will be sent to you through email from Alexandra two days after the event. If you want it printed out by Alexandra you will need to get in touch with her after. 

📸 Alexandra's work is about seeing the beauty in you and celebrating you. She looks for the spaces between things, the pauses, the in between moments, the suggestion, the things not seen. In our shoot we will look for your uniqueness and immortalise it.

📸 The style will be timeless and chanelling the look and feel of a Dutch Master. The Dutch Master setups have a unique look and style due to the once source light, usually a window to the sitters left. They are also full of symbolism which Alexandra also wants to add to your portrait.

There are only 10 tickets for each Monday Club event as we need to follow social distancing rules in place. Please book ahead. There is also an option to book 4 events for £40. Check the details here.

The Monday Club is held every week in Blackheath Village, at the cafe inside The Conservatoire.

Only adult ticket holders accepted at the door.
