TCM is more than acupuncture and herbs; at its core is a way of living in balance. In this series of six monthly webinars starting in October 2021, we will learn about the principles it stands on, how TCM understands the human body, and how we can help ourselves at home.
Each webinar focuses on one major organ, the diseases related to that, and how TCM helps us understand the symptoms while offering straightforward, simple tools to apply in our daily lives.
🍃21st of October 2021 – Introduction to TCM, principles, core ideas, answering general questions about it and getting to know Mr Wang.
🍃25th of November 2021 – Spleen represents Earth, and there is no season related to it, but in the late summer, the spleen gets the most growth. The spleen is behind the thinking activity; too much thinking will be harmful thou.
🍃9th of December 2021– Lungs represents Metal, and autumn is the season related to lungs. Also, this season is when sadness might arise, which is the emotion connected to the lungs.
🍃20th of January 2022 – Kidneys represent Water, where life comes from. It is wintertime for Kidney to gain strength. When kidneys are weak, we will feel fearful.
🍃17th of February 2022 – Liver represents Wood, and it is in spring that the liver becomes active. The liver is the organ linked to mood swings, particularly behind anger. It is the organ connected to our modern life and health issues.
🍃17th of March 2022  – Heart represents Fire, the power of life, and summer is the season when the heart feels the best. Happiness and joy come from the heart.
Before each session, each participant gets to send their questions related to the topic discussed so that Mr Wang can answer them and devise the webinar accordingly. We want to use the one hour and a half as much as possible.
After each session, each participant will get a pdf document with a short outline with the practical tools you can use in daily life to help with the symptoms related to each organ discussed.
We offer the option to book each session separately for £15 for each event.
